Chef Roland Parny has a philosophy of bourgeoisie cuisine—French cuisine made simply with simple, affordable ingredients. While Chef Roland started using very traditional French flavors and techniques, he eventually developed a style all his own. Chef Roland’s cookbook is filled with 122 of his favorite bourgeoisie recipes, ranging from traditional French to his original dishes. Developed from his entire life experiences, these dishes illustrate influences from home cooking with his mother to the international locations where he has lived and worked during his career.
